In these uncertain times for everyone, with many families concerned about their job security and income, I fully understand that the current COVID-19 crisis is financially impacting many families.
Since the suspension of all public Masses and the closure of the Church, our parish is also suffering from a loss of weekly income through the Mass collections.
Therefore, during this time of difficulty, I appeal to those who are financially secure to continue supporting the parish on a regular basis. The parish depends on your generosity to continue its mission of proclaiming the Gospel in our community and it is your regular support that ensures the upkeep of our Church.
As it is currently not possible to visit the Church in person, please consider giving your regular weekly gifts in one of the following ways:
1. Give online: click the Donate Button below to make your gift to the Church. Simply enter the few details requested and the amount you wish to give. This method of giving is completely secure and your transaction is encrypted using Stripe digital security.
2. Set-up a regular gift and pay by Standing Order.
We will forward the relevant part to your bank on your behalf to complete the process.
If you are a UK tax payer, and complete the Gift Aid declaration, the parish can claim an extra 25p tax relief on your gift, which means that the parish receives £1.25 for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you.
3. Increase your current regular gift. If you already give a regular gift and pay using Standing Order, you might wish to consider increasing the amount you give. If so, simply contact your bank or building society to update the amount you give.
4. Donate directly into the parish bank account. One-off gifts can be made using the parish bank account details below:
Account Name: RCDM Saint John the Baptist
Account Number: 00761510
Sort Code: 80-09-93
Thank you for your ongoing and generous support of our parish during these uncertain times.
