As many of you know we are trying to renew our parish following the model set out by Divine Renovation. To encourage people to discuss and understand this better Fr Ivan will lead a series of 6 sessions open to everyone where as a group we will read and discuss the foundational book of the program – “Divine Renovation: Bringing your Parish from Maintenance to Mission” by Fr James Mallon. These sessions will take place on Sat after 0930 mass in the hall starting this Sat, 17 Jan. We have available used copies of the book on sale in the stall with more on the way or it can also be purchased new or used online. The idea is to give people the chance to understand what we are doing as a parish and share their thoughts as we move forward. The first session will consist of a general introduction and a discussion of Chapter one of the book House of Prayer: Remembering our Identity and Purpose so participants are asked to read this chapter before the first session on 17 Jan.
