We have booked a short parish mission to be led by team from the Craig Lodge Mission house based in Dalmally.
This will take place from the weekend 21/22nd May through the Feast of the Ascension on Thursday 26th of May.
The mission team is centred round a group of young people who take a year discerning where the Lord is calling them to be with prayer and outreach based at the Craig Lodge House of prayer in Dalmally.
We are expecting 10 in the team who will be with us from Saturday 21 until the Feast of the Ascension on Thursday 27th May. We are still looking for people to help either by providing a bed for one of or more of the young people or helping with food or the organisation of the week.
The Timetable we have agreed is:
Saturday 21 & Sunday 22nd
- Arrival and presentation of the team, Team lead music at masses and introduce themselves and the mission
Monday 23rd – Theme ‘The Gospel is Good news’
- Team lead music at 9.30am mass
- Evening Service 7.00-9.00pm
Tuesday 24th – Theme ‘Jesus Came to set you free’
- Team lead music at 9:30am mass
- Team ministry in Holy Cross High School
- Evening Service 7.00-9.00pm
Wednesday 25th – Theme ‘Come Holy Spirit’
- Team lead music at 9.30 am mass
- Team ministry in St John the Baptist Primary
- Vigil Mass of the Ascension 7.00pm
- Followed by Evening Mission Service 8.00pm
Thursday 26th Solemnity of Ascension – ‘The Send’
- Team lead music at 9.30am mass
- Evening Mass of the Ascension 7.00pm
- Followed by Evening Mission Service 8.00pm
- With wrap up at 9.00pm
