In the space of just one week in June, MPs voted to decriminalise abortion up-to-birth and to legalise assisted suicide. There is similar legislation going through the Scottish Parliament which seeks to legalise assisted suicide here too. Loss of life is now on an unimaginable scale – in 2025 abortion rates are forecast to hit a devastating 300,000 and since the 1967 Abortion Act, over 10 million babies have lost their lives to abortion in this country.
