Assisted Suicide Campaign – As our parish response to the forthcoming final vote on assisted suicide in Holyrood your ProLife Group are asking you to keep praying for the defeat of this bill. We have also been helping other parishes with bespoke letter signing campaigns and expect to gather several thousand letters. If there are enough volunteers we hope to organise a letter signing campaign in our parish in the coming weeks.

Changes to abortion laws

The Lords will be debating the amendment to decriminalise abortion and legalise termination up to birth for any reason including sex selective abortion. Please write to members of the House of Lords and ask them to fight the extreme abortion up to birth amendment. You can use the link/qr code below. It will generate a Peer at random for you to write to, and bring up an editable template. Please edit this template to put it in your own words, and to include your own concerns and experiences. Once you have finished your letter, it will be emailed to you to print off and send to the Peer by post. Alternatively, you can opt to send your message by email, though paper letters are always more impactful than emails. You can contact as many Peers as you are able to (but the letters must be in separate envelopes).
