LIFE RALLY OUTSIDE HOLYROOD

This is on the day of the Assisted Suicide vote scheduled for the 17 Mar. If you would like to attend please speak to a member of the pro – life group or leave your name on the list at the back of the church.

NEWS – The letter writing campaign we used in the parish for the Assisted suicide legislation has now been adopted by the leading anti-assisted suicide campaign group in Scotland. We have now gathered nearly 9000 individual letters for a number of MSPs from across the Central belt of Scotland. Some MSPs will receive nearly 1000 letters from constituents. We are currently working with volunteers to hand deliver these letters so that the MSP have time to read them before the final debate and vote in the next 2 weeks. Please continue to pray that the sanctity of life is protected.

ABORTION UP TO BIRTH – The House of Lords is scrutinising the Abortion up to Birth amendment and again please pray that this is defeated also There is still time to lobby the Lords by using the link spuc.org.uk

NOVENA – Please all kindly join us, wherever you are, in this Novena for Life starting from 16-24 Mar leading up to the feast of the Annunciation and before the next vote in parliament on the assisted suicide bill. PRAYERS:- Through the intercession of Mary, the Mother of Jesus, we entrust the cause of life. Protect us from all evil acts. 3 x Hail Mary
